Starting with a famous quote of Sir Edmund Hillary as a prologue, “ It is not the mountain we conquer, but ourselves”, we the entire team of Himalayan Eco Trekkers welcome you all heartily to our website. Mountains have attracted people since the pre historic era. Even now, millions of years hence, mountains, forests, streams or collectively the Mother Nature has the same striking impact on mankind. Remembering all these things we are into the trekking business for the last 10 glorious years and hopefully adding more numbers of years.
In mountains or hilly regions people are very traditional and conventional. And there is a culture of worshipping totems or more often called ‘Kuldevtas' or ‘Kuldevis'. These totems are quaintly seated or placed in temples generally built on elevated points of these hill sites. These sites are not accessible through vehicles, as there are no concrete or gravelled roads. So, the only option left is to walk straight to these temples. Initially, the idea of conducting treks came to our mind during these annual or sometimes bi annual worships to various totems. Some of the famous totems are Mahasu Maharaj, Baring Maharaj, Nadasher Maharaj and to name a few. These temples lead to some other alluring and enticing places usually covered by walking or trekking. For instance, Nadasher Maharaj's Kucha trails leads to Baraadsar lake, an auspicious waterbody for locals and an unexplored beauty for the travellers. Sameshwar Maharaj goes up to Devkyara trek and Karan Maharaj goes to Kedarkantha trek.

We have proper certification as a trekking company and our staff is highly experienced one. We being professionals in this trekking field, we ensure that our clients are never disappointed in us and our services. These places or sites are located in such remote and unattainable locations without any kind of roads leading such places. So, the only option remains is to trek up to these mesmerising destinations. Under our guidance and surveillance the trek is conducted smooth making it memorable for our clients. Our various specialities are cosy stay at wooden base camp, local Uttarakhandi cuisine, village tourism, zip lining and many other adventurous activities.
Since we are locals so we try our best to make our clients feel at ease even though the trek trails are arduous. We do it by helping them engage with locals of nearby areas, narrating ancient stories of every place we stop, helping them discover some hidden places, and of course assist them exploring the scrumptious meals cooked by the locals. We are directly connected to the soil of mountains so we make it a point that our clients get the essence of mother Nature in real sense.
